We are US2020

US2020’s mission is to change the trajectory of STEM education in America by dramatically scaling the number of STEM professionals engaged in high-quality STEM mentoring with youth. We are specifically focused on programming that supports underserved and underrepresented students. US2020 launched at the 2013 White House Science Fair and is now building a working community of committed companies, organizations, schools, government agencies, and cities. This community is leading the way in building a quality-driven STEM Mentoring Movement.

We are growing the national supply and demand for STEM mentors by partnering with Fortune 500 companies and best-in-class education partners. We are matching skilled volunteers with these quality programs and creating evaluation systems to measure volunteer and student impact. US2020 focuses on volunteer opportunities that are experiential and hands-on, with the specific goal of building creative and innovative thinking.
